We want to share this image that clearly illustrates what happens when sludge is dewatered with our freeze-based process technology. On the left, the sludge before treatment, with a dry solids content of around 4%. On the right, the same material after dewatering – now reaching 78% dry solids.

By harnessing the natural properties of water during freezing, we can efficiently separate water from solid particles. This enables us to:
Reduce volumes, lowering transport and handling costs.
Reduce the need for chemicals, since the process works without additives.
Prepare sludge for further processing, such as incineration or material recovery.
In practice, this means we can replace or complement existing dewatering steps at wastewater treatment plants and process industries. The outcome is not only drier material – but also a pathway to transform residuals into resources and create Value from waste.
